At BWLSS Eye Hospital, The Department of Paediatric Ophthalmology; housed in the delightful Children’s building has state-of-the-art equipment for comprehensive examination of children’s eyes backed by surgeons who have trained in India and abroad. The Department is supported by ORBIS International (An International NGO committed to removing needless blindness in children worldwide). Uveitis Clinic
The uveitis clinic is a fully equipped department providing consultative care and diagnostic evaluation for patients with intraocular inflammation, and suspected immune-mediated ocular inflammation, including scleritis, orbital pseudo-tumor, corneal melt, ocular cicatrical pemphogoid, Sjogren's syndrome and uveitis.
The Uveitis Clinic participates in research and has special expertise with immunosuppressive medications. In addition to our clinical services, we work in association with rheumatologist, immunologist and internist to provide comprehensive eye care to patients with ocular inflammation.
